Spanning three levels, the villa features features a sunken courtyard which is below street-level. With this approach the pool and courtyard remain protected and unseen and provides a comfort zone by creating a shady space in the warm and arid desert summer. 

The building design consists of three east-west walls and four north-south walls which create different vertical views from different levels and frame the views.
