New record for most expensive penthouse sold in Dubai

At AED 60 million (US $16.3 million), a new record has been set for the most expensive penthouse in Dubai. The property was sold by Luxhabitat this year, and will be part of a 1.7 million square feet complex by Bulgari Resort and Residences. The complex, located in Jumeira Bay, will include 15 mansions, 100 rooms and suits, and a complete range of luxury amenities. The penthouse itself will be full-floor and stand at 14,000 square feet.
It has been reported that the penthouse has 270 degree views of Downtown Dubai and the sea, according to the Luxury Sales Director who brokered the deal, Alexander Von Sayn Wittgenstein.
