Dubai Land Department and Airbus have partnered up to implement geospatial technology to promote Dubai property globally.
An MoU was signed by H.E Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of Dubai Land Department and Mikail Houari, Airbus President for Africa and Middle East at the 16th Cityscape Global, which took place in Dubai's World Trade Centre from 11-13 September.
The agreement supports Dubai's Smart Government directives and it is in line with the UAE Vision 2021 to develop government services and to achieve high quality of life for the UAE citizens and residents. The Dubai Land Department vision is to implement innovative technologies such as 3D and machine learning to enhance the promotion of properties in the Emirate to global audiences worldwide.

Airbus and the DLD will explore the development of a pioneering solution consisting of a high definition virtual 3D navigation experience and improve DLD's property valuation model. Data driven smart technologies will form an important part of DLD's ambitions to better organise and regulate the Dubai real estate market in addition to catalysing an investment drive in the real estate sector.
