Archiplexus fuses contemporary and traditional Middle Eastern themes at Palm 66 by in Dubai.
Archiplexus just won an award for Interior Design (Private Residence Arabia) by the International Property Awards at the J W Marriot in Dubai for this renovation, Project Palm 66. It was also shortlisted for the UAE National prestigious CID awards. Completed earlier this year, the recognition was for the renovated palm villa on the Palm Jumeirah Island off the coast of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The villa’s interiors were nearly totally demolished, and reborn as a contemporary, traditionally influenced home for a young family. In the Archiplexus style, bespoke details are carried through the entire dwelling creating an architectural identity for the home owner. While opening the floor plan to maximise sunlight and to take in the views, they created a style fusing contemporary and traditional Middle Eastern themes. A custom-made feature wall adds texture to the minimalist white-on-white house. Fabrics were also chosen to filter the light.
Focused on bringing greater depth and meaning to architecture and designs that summon the wealth of its Middle-Eastern heritage, Archiplexus architecture and design is an architectural firm based in Dubai.
