After 1982’s crisis in Lebanon left his father unable to fulfil his dream project, Imad Kassir is completing the development in Lebanon.
Imad Kassir is the co-Founder and Managing Partner of The Firm, a boutique law firm in Dubai. His father was a diligent, hardworking person who had to work abroad, away from his family. After years of hard work he saved a small fortune and decided to buy some land near the family home, in Qlayaat, Lebanon. His dream was to slowly develop it, so he could have more time with the family to help compensate for the days that he was away.
Unfortunately, he was not able to make the plan become a reality - the civil war and subsequent economic crisis in Lebanon in the 1980's lead to the currency losing its value. Six million Lebanese pounds became equivalent to 3,000 – 4,000 US Dollars. He had to re-join the workforce to regain the loss. Unfortunately, he never was able to bring his dream to life as he passed away in May 2011.
Now, Imad is following through his father’s dream. He told SCHWARTZWILLIAMS, “I am happy that I am doing this and fulfilling his dream. I’m happy to share this dream and love with the new buyers. This building is not just built of cement and steel but also build by love and diligence. I will make sure that every material used and the way it is built will last.”
The development will have units for sale. If you would like more information including building plans or information about the area, email Imad Kassir with the contact details below.
