The educational arm of Dubai Land Department will open up new markets for real estate growth starting with Kuwait, Jordan and Egypt.
Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI), the educational arm of Dubai Land Department (DLD), has announced plans to extend its training activities in the region. A delegation from DREI visited Kuwait to discuss cooperation and strategic partnerships, strengthen relations, and develop real estate training programmes and a regulatory framework.
Mahmoud El Burai, CEO of DREI, commented: "We look forward to partnering with a number of real estate training providers in Kuwait and other countries to discuss the role that DREI can play in improving real estate knowledge beyond the UAE. Through this cooperation, we will develop comprehensive training and educational solutions, and also provide accreditation to participants who attend the courses. We aim to enhance their professional capabilities and equip them to contribute to the development of their local markets, while also allowing them to keep pace with the booming real estate market and fulfil the need for qualified local cadres."
DREI's plan reflects the future growth prospects in the region’s real estate markets. Future visits will take place in Jordan and Egypt, and aim to establish partnerships to set new training markets and help DREI to spread best-practise real estate knowledge and consolidate its position as the region's premier destination for real estate training.
DREI's delegation was received by the Director General of the Kuwait Municipality, the President of the Real Estate Brokers Association, the President of the Real Estate Association, and a number of private real estate companies.
