The awards are a collaboration between the International Property Awards and Dubai Land Departments and are open to architects, developers, interior designers, and real estate brokers in Dubai.
The first edition of the International Property Awards – Dubai (IPAD) 2018 will be held on 11th October, Dubai Land Department (DLD) has announced. With 49 companies competing in various categories, 41 of which being local, DLD is expecting a highly competitive first edition.
IPAD is the result of a partnership of DLD and the International Property Awards. The awards are open to architects, developers, interior designers, and real estate brokers working in Dubai, with a focus on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. It also opened the door for participants to compete at the local, regional, and global levels.
Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, commented, "We are pleased to organise this award in Dubai as a consolidation of our partnership with the International Property Awards. This global programme is widely recognised by all parties in the sector and will inevitably meet the demand of our local companies that always strive for excellence. We are confident that the establishment of a specialised branch of the Awards in Dubai will further develop our real estate sector, especially in light of the prestigious awards that the sector won from reputable international institutions."

The event and closing ceremony will be held at the Wadorf Astoria, Palm Jumeirah.
