DLD’s Sultan Butti bin Mejren and Knight Frank Middle East’s Maria Morris signed the MOU at Cityscape Global in Dubai.
Knight Frank, a leading independent global property consultancy, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) to become the department’s Knowledge Partner. The MOU was signed during an event hosted at this year’s Cityscape Global in Dubai.
HE Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, signed the MoU along with Maria Morris, Partner and Head of Residential at Knight Frank Middle East.
As part of DLD’s strategy to promote Dubai’s real estate globally, Knight Frank Middle East will be providing advisory services to assist and educate prospective buyers with their best in-class research.
HE Sultan Butti bin Mejren said, “The MOU with Knight Frank Middle East is a strategic one that DLD has undertaken not only to consolidate Dubai’s real estate market, but also to promote DLD’s services overseas, as well as Dubai’s global position as hub for real estate and investment. This agreement is in line with Dubai Government’s objectives in the real estate sector and will contribute to the development of the Emirate. DLD aims to provide a regulatory method to register lands, protect the rights of all parties, and provide a secure and transparent real estate environment that attracts global investments, reinforcing confidence in Dubai’s real estate market.”
Maria Morris commented, “Knight Frank has been in the Middle East for over 15 years and possesses a wealth of data and insights across both the commercial and residential sectors, retaining itself as a constant source of research content for investors, analysts, and media. The long-term outlook for Dubai’s economy and real estate market remains positive, and by signing this MOU, we are delighted to continue our support of DLD and their efforts to ensure Dubai is one of the best places to live and work globally.”
